Congratulations to Oneview’s customers who feature in Newsweek’s list of the World’s Best Smart Hospitals in 2021.
Newsweek partnered with data firm Statista to develop the list, based on the use of advanced technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotic surgery, digital imaging, telemedicine, smart buildings, information technology infrastructure and EHRs.
The COVID-19 pandemic placed enormous stress on healthcare systems across the world, and innovative hospitals were better placed to respond to the crisis. “The hospitals that best weathered the crisis were by and large the ones that were already open to integrating new technologies and taking advantage of data-driven opportunities as they become available.”. Technology has been key to weathering the pandemic. It is also, Newsweek observes, the best chance the world has to deliver sustainable healthcare as populations age.
